Alfredo Renga

Alfredo was born in Caserta, Italy, in 1981. He received the M.S. degree in aerospace engineering and the Ph.D. degree in industrial engineering from the University of Naples Federico II, Naples, Italy, in 2006 and 2010, respectively. Since 2010 he has been with the University of Naples Federico, where he is currently an Associate Professor of Aerospace Systems. His research interests include aerospace remote sensing systems, such as the Synthetic Aperture Radar, and autonomous navigation of aerospace platforms. His scientific production includes more than 160 scientific papers (since 2007) published in distinguished international journals, conference proceedings, and book chapters, and frequently referenced in the literature. He has been the Scientific Responsible and the Principle Investigator of several research projects funded or supported by national and international institutions (ASI, DLR).
