Aya  Iwamoto, Vice president, Strategy and Policy, Astroscale Japan, is responsible for Astroscale Japan’s policy efforts  towards spaceflight safety to achieve long-term space sustainability and safety as well as strategy. Prior to join Astroscale team in February 2020, she had worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan engaging issues as India-Japan bilateral relationship, international law and treaties, arms control and disarmament issues including arms control and security in outer space.
