Luca DELL'ORO

United Nations Satellite Centre (UNOSAT) • Chief of the Disaster Risk Management and Climate Resilience Section

Mr. Luca Dell'Oro has more than 15 years of experience within the United Nations and is the Chief of the Disaster Risk Management and Climate Resilience Section of the United Nations Satellite Centre (UNOSAT) under the Satellite Analysis and Applied Research Division (SAAR) of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). Since 2011, he has been a visiting lecturer at the University of Copenhagen for the Master of Disaster Management. He has also contributed to numerous international conferences and scientific publications.

Mr. Luca Dell'Oro graduated in 2001 from the University of Bologna (MSc. in Environmental Engineering) and holds a professional Master's degree (cum laude) in Geoinformation Science and Earth Observation with a specialization in Natural Hazard Studies (ITC, The Netherlands).
