Lyn D. WIGBELS

Lyn D. Wigbels is President of RWI International Consulting Services and International Coordinator of the Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE) Program. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Astronautical Society and previously was President of the American Astronautical Society. She served as IAF Vice President for Youth and Workforce Development Activities and currently is Chair of the IAF Emerging Space Leaders and Young Space Leaders Subcommittee and a member of the IAF International Programs Committee Steering Group, the Honors and Awards Committee and other technical and administrative committees. She previously served as Chair of the Federation’s Space Education and Outreach Committee and the Board of Trustees of the International Space University. Ms. Wigbels held several senior executive positions at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration before retiring from the U.S. Government. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dickinson College and a Master of Arts degree from the George Washington University. She is a Full Member of the International Academy of Astronautics, a Fellow in the American Astronautical Society and an Associate Fellow in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
