Dr. Marco Di Clemente received his M.Eng. cum laude in Aerospace Engineering in 2002 and his Ph.D. in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics in 2008, both from the University of Rome “La Sapienza.” Since 2002, Dr. Di Clemente has held various positions at the Italian Aerospace Research Centre (CIRA), specializing in Aerothermodynamics and Space Propulsion. In 2017, he joined the Italian Space Agency, where he currently serves as the Head of Technology Developments and Space Design. In this capacity, he oversees the creation and implementation of technology roadmaps essential for the advancement of future space missions and provides system engineering support for ongoing projects. Dr. Di Clemente is author of more than 50 publications in peer reviewed international journals and conference proceedings reflecting his significant impact on aerospace engineering and space exploration.
