Thomas Wolf

Thomas Wolf is Team-Lead Automation and Robotics and Deputy Department-Head of Robotics, Digitization and AI at the German Space-Agency at DLR. His duties include stewardship, strategy, advising Agency leadership and project implementation on topics relevant to space sustainability and safety, ISAM (In-space Servicing, Assembly, and Manufacturing and Rendezvous) and robotic exploration.

Thomas has over 15 years of experience at the German Space-Agency at DLR, including roles on several efforts as Mission System Engineer and Project Manager. He holds a university diploma (M.Sc) in computer science and artificial intelligence from Technical University of Chemnitz (Germany). Born and raised in Cologne, Thomas currently lives in the Cologne area with his wife and two children.
