Yu MENGLUN

Yu Menglun，Technical expert of launch vehicle，Academician of Chinese academy of science (CAS), the founder of China’s launch vehicle trajectory design theory system, one of the pioneers and academic leaders of flight mechanics in China.

He has made significant and irreplaceable pioneering contributions to the flight scheme design of Long March (LM) series launch vehicle. His technical achievements greatly improved the capacity and the flight reliability of LM launch vehicles and laid a solid foundation for the development of China’s new generation launch vehicle.

He has been honored numerous national, provincial and ministerial levelawards, including 1 National Science Conference Awardand 2 National Scientific Progress Awards, China Aerospace Fund Award, Advanced Individual in Aerospace Technology of Nation’s 863 Program, etc…
