Let’s recall that space-related processes relevant to the UN’s broader human rights recognize the urgent need to “Pay equal attention to the realization of civil, cultural, economic, political, and social rights, including the right to development”. While major events such as the IAC create a platform for unification and cooperation across political and government boundaries, can we claim that everyone is ready to give space a chance? Can space play the role of a cultural catalyst for unifying nations?
