The User Consultation Platform is a unique initiative of the EU Space Programme to hear the voices of the users and improve the space services to support their business. The press conference will bring together high-level representatives of the EU Space Programme and users. They will discuss the requirements needed to evolve various space programme components to support sustainable growth, security, and safety in a global context.
2024 marks the 6th edition of the User Consultation Platform, which brings annually together more than 300 users. The press conference will highlight the conclusions of the 12 dedicated workshops held online on October 8th covering topics such as emergency management, health, urban development and cultural heritage, maritime and fisheries, energy and raw materials, insurance and finance, aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles and infrastructure management.
