The University of Sciences and Humanities is a non-profit Civil Association. It is an academic community oriented towards research through humanistic, scientific and technological professional training, with a clear awareness of our country as a multicultural reality. Through resolution No. 071-2017, published on November 21, 2017 in the official newspaper El Peruano, the National Superintendence of Higher University Education (Sunedu) granted the institutional licensing.

Research represents a strong commitment for the UCH, for this reason 115 internal projects have been financed with their own funds, with the aim that they are executed optimally and with all the requirements demanded by research quality. Likewise, the UCH has obtained through a public call 8 competitive funds for the development of 8 different large-scale research projects, one of them international in scope. This has allowed it to manage approximately 3,669,000.00 soles of external subsidy, which guarantees good management of financial execution by the institution.

Lastly, both the research centers and the laboratories of the UCH are permanently active in the development of research, and their work is published every year in indexed and high-impact journals. It currently registers 533 publications and only in the year 2022 reached the figure of 107 papers. All these works are found in the Scopus database.
