The Chinese Society of Astronautics (CSA) was founded in october 1979 and formally registered in Beijing, China, it is a non-governmental and non-profit academic organisation and corporate aggregate. CSA includes 30 professional committees, 169 institutional members and 18338 individualswith an interest in space matters.
The purposes of the CSA are to expedite the development and popularisation of space science and technology with astronautical professionals and technicians.
