ICEYE is a fast-growing New Space technology company founded in Finland as a spinoff from Aalto University in 2014 which designs, builds, launches, and operates constellations of radar imaging satellites in space. The company commercialises and democratises the technology with solutions, information acquisition, processing platforms, satellite data, and data fusion.

ICEYE delivers unmatched persistent monitoring capabilities for any location on earth. Owning the world’s largest synthetic-aperture radar (SAR) constellation, we enable objective, data-driven decisions for customers in disaster management, security, maritime and infrastructural monitoring, and finance. ICEYE’s data can be collected day or night, and even through cloud cover in any weather conditions.

ICEYE’s large constellation of small SAR satellites (the biggest in the world) enables the world’s first persistent monitoring of any location on Earth, often with multiple revisits per day. ICEYE’s SAR data can be used in various ways. The applications include flood monitoring and prediction, wildfire monitoring and prediction harbour stockpile monitoring, detection of illegal deforestation, fisheries monitoring, ensuring agricultural policy compliance, energy network surveillance and many others.
