Monacosat S.A.M.

Monacosat S.A.M. company is a regional satellite operator partnership between SSI-Monaco S.A.M. company and the Government of the Principality of Monaco. After the success of the launch of the Monacosat-1 satellite at 52°E orbital position, realized by SSI-Monaco (“SSI”) in 2015, SSI-Monaco and the Government of Monaco decided together to create Monacosat S.A.M. (“Monacosat”), a company incorporated in Monaco in 2017 to operate Geosynchronous (GEO) Ka Software Defined Satellites (under construction) at 52° East. Monacosat was specifically formed to finance, contract and operate Monacosat-2 and future telecommunication satellite systems and provide services that are mainly VHTS internet broadband-based in developed and under-developed countries in full visibility of the earth from 52°E.
