National Space Society Colombia

The primary activities of the organization can be grouped in:

• Advocacy for Space Policies: By meeting and engaging with stakeholders amongst local and regional industry, academia, and government. Promoting and proposing potential implementations of space policy that would benefit the people of Colombia, as well as align it with governmental initiatives.
• Technical and Academic Activities: Taking into account the different background of the members, the organization promotes technical and academic teams that develop projects in the aerospace field. Topics developed include space law, satellite capabilities development, analog missions, and others.
• Industry and entrepreneurship promoting: Taking into account thedifferent background of the members, the organization promotes the development of space related industry and entrepreneurship.
• Outreach: By organizing and participating in activities such as talks, workshops, and other scenarios. Recognizing the importance of promoting knowledge of the aerospace field among the general public.
