Open Lunar generates and invests in solutions that enable peaceful Lunar exploration. By combining community-led decision making with technical support and strategic grantmaking, we are protecting and conserving the Moon for future generations. Open Lunar is an independent, neutral, non-profit organization. We work globally to achieve our mission. We are the only dedicated international source of independent, non-governmental research on Lunar development. We focus on developing research that contributes to sustainable development on Earth and in Space. We provide a 'third-way' perspective - pursuing research that would not normally be undertaken by government and industry - and that unlocks efficiencies through enhancing cooperation and standardization.
