At QinetiQ, we encourage our people to think and do things differently. As one of the largest and most respected global science and technology organisations, we are constantly breaking new ground in the application of cutting-edge technology in the space sector. We provide pioneering solutions and are successfully transferring our expertise into pushing the boundaries of space.

From our sites in Belgium and UK, we deliver entire satellites and major satellite equipment, including on-board computers, remote terminal units, and mass memories. The PROBA remote sensing satellites have been fully designed and built at our facilities. We develop science instruments for the International Space Station and are able to support long-time crewed missions with our Life Support projects, which look into providing food, oxygen, and fuel to space travelers. Furthermore, we are working on IBDM – the International Berthing and Docking Mechanism – for the European Space Agency.
