SABRE is a revolutionary air-breathing propulsion system that combines the efficiency of gas turbine technology with the power of rocket propulsion. It will enable reusable, horizontally launched aircraft-like vehicles that are more affordable and offer improved operational characteristics that vertical rocket systems. At the heart of SABRE, Reaction Engines have developed ground-breaking thermal management capability which drives SABRE’s disruptive potential. This same technology can also be used to drive advances in both established and developing applications by improving operational efficiency and environmental performance.
